It’s written very simple but heartbreaking at the same time, the chapter “Searching for Birth Parents” will leave you sobbing. That alone is one significant sign of someone who has an impeccable talent of capturing reality into words on paper or screen. I find her to be a woman of resilience and ambition. Not only her life, but the reflections and contemplations she penned down are incredibly profound. Hasina's autobiography isn't only special because of the circumstances she faced, but because of her response to them. I never thought I would enjoy reading an autobiography, but I did. This book is fast-paced and will keep you emotionally connected throughout Hasina's life journey. Some parts were very deeply felt, especially the chapter about her struggles with her family, who were sometimes very toxic tbh. I can't even imagine living in an environment where you feel "seen but not heard," as she describes it. Overall it was good and you should read it. Even if you're not into non-fiction and autobiographies, trust me, this one won't bore you.

This was the first autobiography I ever read and believe me it didn't disappoint me at all. The author herslef is an orphan and she wrote a book on her life. Brutally honest.
