About Hasina Knox

Hasina Knox (on Instagram) has been a stay-at-home mom for over twenty years. Devoting herself to motherhood, maintaining a home, and providing guidance and education to her children has been the most enriching and satisfying pursuit. She always had a love of writing since the age of eight. However, the demands of raising four children left her with little time to pursue this passion.

Her husband knew she loved writing, so over the years he consistently urged her to consider writing a children's book, but it wasn't until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that she found the opportunity to contemplate such a project. She decided to have her children attend school online, and was finally able to dedicate to this endeavor.

She came up with ten book ideas and decided to split them into two series, with both series consisting of five books each. She wrote four children’s books and published them. Initially, she followed the extensive procedure of seeking a traditional publisher, which often resulted in months of waiting to only receive a rejection, mostly because her book didn't align with their preferred style, or sometimes, she wouldn't receive any response at all. But then she found out about self-publishing.

Learning how to do it was exciting, and seeing her ideas turn into actual printed books was incredibly rewarding. She enjoyed the process so much that she ended up self-publishing seventy-four more books on Amazon. She has also finished writing her autobiography, "LONGING TO BELONG: AN ORPHAN'S STORY," which released in February 2024. As she continued self-publishing, she recognized the challenges fellow writers faced in the publishing process. So, she made the choice to support and mentor other writers, going as far as handling most of the work to ensure their books could be published in under a month. In many cases, it could even be done in as little as a day to two weeks, depending on the readiness of their formatted files.

Her love for writing began as a hobby, which evolved into a publishing journey. Eventually, she found fulfillment in coaching others in the realm of self-publishing.
